Box.net

May 26, 2006

Just found a free online storage site (1Gb of storage for free) that works with WebDAV on your Mac.

Once you have your account setup, go to your Finder and choose Go-->Connect to Server... and enter the following:

https://www.box.net/dav

Enter your login and password and your Box.net files appear on your desktop in a volume named Dav. Pretty cool.

The Dav features are a little buggy, but they work and can only get better over time. I'm using it to store installers and stuff that I often need at clients, but don't always have with me.
